Salary: £16,360 p.a. - £16,634 p.a.
Requirements:
A vacancy has arisen for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support the learning and pastoral needs of a delightful child who has special needs. The contract will be fixed-term with an unspecified end date. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and friendly, who has good communication skills and, a strong knowledge of child development. Previous experience of working in a SEND environment would be advantageous.
Applicants should have:-
- Experience of working with pupils who have SEND needs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A work ethic which is driven by a desire to make a positive difference to those who need a little extra help through the school day
- The ability to use your own initiative
- A friendly and approachable manner – with a glass half full demeanour

An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants and references will be requested for short-listed applicants prior to interview and will form part of the interview process. The successful applicant will also be expected to undertake a medical questionnaire.

Description:
Croyland Primary School is a large vibrant school situated in Wellingborough with two classes per year group catering for 420 pupils. We have a diverse range of pupils, some with complex and challenging needs. Our school has a proven track record of inclusive practice, a clear and shared vision, and the determination to support all children in achieving their potential. We were judged to be a Good school in our most recent Ofsted inspection; October 2021.
Hours of work are 8.45am to 3.30pm daily, with a 30 minute lunch break.
